Learn how to use Elementor Forms API to access submitted form data in the WordPress backend via the functions.php file. In this tutorial, we'll design a simple calculator that adds two numbers together. We'll submit the form data to the Elementor Forms API via an AJAX handler, process the numbers in custom PHP code, and return the result back to the page with JQuery. By using the "Form New Record Action" of the Elementor API, you'll bypass the built-in "actions after submit" functionality and have complete control over your form data.
