In this video we take a look at the unique DIFFUSION DELAY effect on Muse and how to use it to add space and movement to Muse’s analog voices.
Using the basic initial patch on Muse we engage the DIFFUSION DELAY and play with the independent left and right TIME controls to create bouncing stereo movement. Using the LINK DELAYS and CLOCK SYNC buttons we link the two channels of the DIFFUSION DELAY to a specific temporal spacing as well as lock the delay times to sync to the master CLOCK on Muse. Finally, we begin to explore the CHARACTER knob which by default controls a DJ style filter in the feedback path: operating as a high-pass filter above noon and a low-pass filter below noon.
