Oculus Quest Performance Profiling and Performance Optimization
Correction at 5:50 - The App value represents only the time taken by the GPU to render the frame, not the total frame time (which is CPU + GPU time). So you can have an app value of 7ms, but that doesn't guarantee that the app is performing well, because it doesn't include CPU time!
In this video tutorial, I show you how to easily measure the performance and check the frame rate of your VR app that's running on the Oculus Quest!
Although performance profiling is quite complex and very project-specific, there a few easy ways to get the right data that you need in order to measure frame rate and see where exactly your app is dropping frames.
