numpy is a library of python for high level mathematical operations. It is the most powerful, prominent and fastest library for mathematical operations and scientific operations. It handles arrays with its data type and its operations. Array is the collection similar type of elements.

So in this video we are just going to discuss about the most powerful feature of numpy that Vectorization and Broadcasting. Vectorization is a the concept of parallel operation at the same time. numpy can perform well with arrays using the vectorization concept.

We can check the speed of numpy using following code. sum is python function and np.sum is numpy function. numpy function will take very less time to add all the values of array.
