How to install python on Mac
Step 1 - Install python extension.
Step 2 - Obtain executable path typing following command on the terminal
(Note that this code should be run in the Python 3 interpreter, not in a JSON file. If you want to specify the Python 3 executable path in a JSON file for use with VS Code )

-print(sys.executable)
Step 3 - Specify the Python 3 executable path in your VS Code settings.json file and save the it.
