The Chudnovsky algorithm is an algorithm that can calculate digits of pi very quickly! All recent pi calculation world records have been set using the Chudnovsky algorithm.
In this video I show how to code a program in Python that can calculate pi to any given amount of digits using the Chudnovsky algorithm. However, Python isn't the fastest programming language so I doubt you can calculate billions of digits with this.
