Shakerato Tutorial
For this drink we partnered with @effenvodka and @capheroasters and @mariagefreresofficial to create a “marriage” of old and new. We used a traditional phin to brew Vietnamese coffee, and made our own coffee liqueur by adding equal parts vodka to it! Then we made our own condensed milk syrup by adding equal parts Imperial Wedding tea, from the finest tea house of France, and added it to our coffee at a 1:1 ratio. For a delicious twist we smashed up some astronaut ice cream sandwiches, and created a delightful garnish that melts at a different consistency so our guests could enjoy the play of textures and flavors, with the sweet and creamy giving way to tea on the mid palate giving way to a long intense Vietnamese coffee finish.
