Hey guys, welcome back to NEXTGENBLOGGER and in this video I want to show you how to increase or decrease audio volume using keyframes in VSDC Video Editor. Now to start off, I've already opened up VSDC and I've also imported a demo video in the timeline. So this is my demo video present right here.

Now first, let me quickly play the video for you. The whole premise for Apple's existence is to come up with better products, highly differentiated better products that then the third party software developers can develop new and exciting and different applications on that they can't develop on other types of personal computers. Now what I want to do is I want to decrease the audio volume in the first 3 seconds of this video.

Okay. And I want to do that using keyframes. So to do that, double click on your video. Next, go to 'Audio effects', go to 'Amplitude', select 'Amplify', and now click on 'OK'.

Next, look inside the 'Amplify effect settings', which is present inside 'Properties window'. And right here, you're going to find this option called 'Audio volume' where currently the value is 0 decibel. So what you need to do is you need to click on the three dots which is present on the extreme right of the 'Audio volume' option and this will open up the Key editor.

Next, if you look inside the Key editor, you will see that two keyframes have already been added. One is at 0 seconds and the other one is present right at the end. So what you need to do is you need to move the cursor and place it at 3 seconds.

Next, you need to add a keyframe in this particular position. So to do that, click on this option that is 'Insert point' and this will add a keyframe in this particular position. Next, move the cursor forward by one frame and now add a keyframe in this position as well.

So click on this option once again that is 'Insert point' and this will add another keyframe. Next, select the keyframe which is present right at the start and now you need to decrease the point value for this keyframe from 0 decibel to - 40 decibels. Next, select the keyframe which is present at 3 seconds and now decrease the point value for this keyframe from 0 decibel to - 40 decibels as well.
And so now if I play the video for you right from the start. The whole premise for Apple's existence. So as you heard we have successfully decreased the audio volume in the first 3 seconds of this video.

So let me play the video for you once again. The whole premise for Apple's existence. So this is how you can decrease the audio volume using keyframes in VSDC Video Editor.

Now just how you decrease the audio volume you can also increase the audio volume in a similar way. So let's say I want to increase the audio volume from 19 seconds to 30 seconds. Okay.

So to do that first move the cursor and place it at 19 seconds. Next, you need to add a keyframe in this particular position. So to do that click on this option that 'Insert point' and this will add a keyframe in this particular position.

Next, move the cursor forward by one frame and now add a keyframe in this particular position as well. So click on this option once again that is 'Insert point' and this will add another keyframe. Next, move the cursor and place it at 30 seconds.

And once you have placed the cursor at 30 seconds now add a keyframe in this position. So click on this option once again that is 'Insert point'. Now move the cursor forward by one frame and now add a keyframe in this position as well.

So click on 'Insert point' once again and this will add another keyframe. Now what you need to do is you need to select the keyframe which is present right after the keyframe which is present at 19 seconds and now you need to increase the point value for this keyframe from 0 decibel to let's say 5 decibels. Next, select the keyframe which is present at 30 seconds and now increase the point value for this keyframe from 0 decibel to 5 decibels.

And so now if I play the video for you right from the start. Then I'm not sure that that the market needs Apple. So as you heard from 19 seconds to 30 seconds the audio volume increased by 5 decibels.

So this is how you can increase or decrease audio volume using keyframes in VSDC Video Editor. Do let me know your thoughts in the comment section below. Like the video and subscribe to my YouTube channel. I will again see you in the next video. Till then thanks for watching.
