Java 8 stream api | map & filter function|
Here we have discussed java 8 stream api and its two function map() and filter(). Map function is useful for transforming the data which is present on the List, Set, and Map collections framework. whereas the filter function is useful for filtering the data or object which is present on the List, Set, and Map collection.
this feature comes on the java 8 version. in this version onwards oracle is planinng to make java as functional programming.
Stream api comes used for streaming the data from the List, Set, and Map collection as pipelines.
There soo many new functions coming on stream apis that will see them later in next video.
