Here is an example of the filter feature: Say a spreadsheet has data in five
columns with the following headers: Name, Education, Experience, Certifications, and Relocate? Assume that you want to see only the data of people with certifications. Using the Filter feature, you can easily view this data.

Filter data by color, condition, or value. The filter by condition option, for
example, allows you to set a condition using one of several choices.

How to Access the Filter feature?

There are two ways to access the Filter feature: 1. Click Data and select Create a filter or 2. Click the Create a filter icon.

How to Save or Delete a Filter View?

After you filter data, you can save the data displayed. To save, click Data, then Filter views, and select Save as filter view. Or, click the Filter views down-arrow, which is to the right of Filter icon, and select Save as Filter view.

To delete a saved filter view, display that view, click the Options icon and click Delete.

How to Remove a Filter?

Click the Remove filter icon to remove a filter.
