In this video, I’ll show you how to change the regional format settings on your Windows 10 PC. This controls how dates, times, and numbers are displayed -useful if you prefer a different date format, change calendar format or use your computer in a different country or language setting.
Manual Instruction:
(1) Right-click the Start button
(2) Click Settings
(3) Go to Time & Language
(4) Click Region on the left sidebar
(5) Under Regional format, choose a region from the dropdown menu
→ This affects how dates, times, and numbers are displayed
(6) To customize further, click Change data formats
(7) You can now adjust:
Short date (e.g. 7/7/2025 or 07.07.25)
Long date (e.g. Monday, July 7, 2025)
Short time and Long time
First day of the week
(8) Close the Settings window - changes apply immediately.
