Title: Using React Redux Hooks
Event: Monthly JavaScript
Speaker: Osha Groetz

In the React Redux custom hooks API we get two hooks that allow us to completely eliminate the Redux functions ‘mapStateToProps’ and ‘mapDispatchToProps’. With useSelector it’s faster to get data from the Redux store state. while useDispatch allows us to dispatch actions immediately. Join us at this event to learn more!

Osha made a career change in early 2020 after having run her own cafes and wholesale food business for 5 years. After graduating from the Flatiron Full-Stack Engineering Bootcamp in early October 2020, she has recently accepted her first position as Associate Software Engineer with Table XI remotely out of Chicago, IL. Originally from New York, Osha, her husband, and their Shiba-Inu, Yoshi, live in Denver, CO.
