What is Python?

As for the name "Python," it has nothing to do with the snake. Guido van Rossum was a fan of the British comedy group Monty Python, known for their sketch comedy show "Monty Python's Flying Circus." When he was creating Python, he wanted a name that was short, unique, and slightly mysterious, and he liked the humor associated with Monty Python. Hence, he decided to name the language after the comedy group. The name was meant to be a tribute to Monty Python, and it has no connection to the reptile.
