Go back and improve your video. Final Cut Pro 10.3 Tutorial Series, part seven, The Second Pass. This is a complete A to Z tutorial for Final Cut Pro X. Part one was about importing media. Part two is all about tagging and organizing media. Part three was making a rough cut, and part four was adding B-roll. In part five, background music and sound effects were added. Part six is about exporting video to your mac and sharing on YouTube. This is part seven, and its all about going back and improving your video based on feedback you received. First I show you how to easily delete and replace background music. Then we'll explore FCPs replace edit options, including replace, replace from end, and replace from start. We'll also explore FCPs position tool and how it can be used to overwrite clips in your timeline. This is especially useful when you're locked in for time, because it doesn't alter your project length. And last, I'll discuss the playhead position command in FCPX. Use that to easily navigate clips in the browser and timeline by entering numeric timecode.
