Check out this quick soft curl tutorial (it takes me 10 minutes max!) and my tips on how to keep your hair soft and smooth while using a curling iron. In this video, I feature my favorite products to keep my hair touchably soft, textured, and full of volume and bounce.

Steps:

--Products I use (in order) before applying the hot iron-
1. Living Proof Prime Style Extender- I put it at the tips to condition my hair
2. Moroccan Oil Soothing Lotion- I use this about mid-shaft down to help control my hair
3. Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray- Also mid shaft down, I find it helps to add texture, and keep the curl throughout the day.

--Now, separate your hair into sections--
4. Stylesexyhair Heat Protector- Spray it on hair right before curling it

5. Now, we can curl! I use a 1 inch iron (for a tighter curl) by Hot Tools Professional. I curl away from the head, all in the same direction.

6. Once I am done with curling, I spray my curls with hairspray! I use a Spray Clay by StyleSexyHair.
