Yo ninjas, in this jQuery tutorial for beginners, I'll show you why the document ready event is so important, and how it differs from the window load event. I always get into the habit of using these 2 events in my JavaScript code every time, to make sure that the DOM (and in some cases, images) are fully loaded before my JavaScript & jQuery fire.
