Minecraft Modding Tutorial (Forge 1.11) - pt. 3 - Basic Item
Making a very simple item. Demonstrates registering an item and model registration. Note that the structure of your resources folder is very important! Everything must be named exactly as shown. The JSON model files are also very delicate, so be very careful when creating them. Also shows how overriding methods can change an item's behavior.
