This video tutorial demonstrates how we can implement Autosuggest / Autocomplete features in angular 2 / angular 4.
Both the approach of using Datalist control of HTML5 for HTML5 compliant browser and creating custom component for AutoComplete which would work on any non HTML5 compliant browser is demonstrated. The server side is created in PHP using PHPExcel library to read an Excel file and generates a JSON response which is being parsed and consumed by Angular Components.
