Every Summer when my mom is in town to visit, she messes something up on the TV remote and we're all stuck looking at a blank screen that says "No input detected." I've explained to her that HDMI stands for "High-Definition Multimedia Interface" and that all she needs to do is check the AV receiver to see what input that's on--and press the "select" button if the input isn't displayed--and then use the TV remote (NOT the AV receiver remote, or the Fire TV remote) to navigate through the settings menu to the "setup" page, then scroll down to "connection settings," and then select the right HDMI input. How much easier can I make it?
So if I seem a little impatient in this video, it's because that's what I'm dealing with. Don't be like my mom; learn to use input quickly and correctly. We'll take a look at the input() function, user prompts, and converting input into numbers. Now, if I could only find the stupid AAA batteries for the remote...
