Welcome to Episode 1 of my Unturned Map Editor tutorial series!

In this beginner-friendly tutorial, we’re starting from the very beginning of the vanilla Unturned Map Editor.

I’ll show you how to create your first map, move around the editor, understand the main editor sections, find your map files, and unlock official maps like Washington using a .unlocker file.

The goal of this series is to create an updated and beginner-friendly guide to the Unturned Map Editor, while gradually moving into more advanced mapping systems and practical map-building techniques.

Throughout the series, we’ll be covering Terrain, Environment, Spawns, Level, Objects, roads, navigation, item and zombie spawns, building and decoration techniques, caves, map configuration and much more.

After the main Map Editor series, I also plan to use the tutorial map for some practical follow-up content, including testing a free NPC pack.
