Balloon Tutorial
In this video tutorial, I guide you through the development of a GUI program that displays and compare two balloons. Every so often, I will ask you to pause the video and to implement a specific task. Take a moment to give it a try. Once you had a chance to think it through and to try it out, you can watch me program that part.
At the beginning of the video, I show you the finished project. This way you have an idea of what to expect.
Overview of the programming tutorial:
We start by creating a Balloon class. Then we override the methods equals and hashCode in order to be able to compare whether two balloons are equal. Next, we used a simple console test client to validate that class Balloon works as expected. Once we are confident that this is the case, we are ready to create a GUI application that displays and compares two balloons.
