🔦 What is Elasticsearch? Elasticsearch is a distributed, RESTful search and analytics engine capable of solving a growing number of use cases. It functions as a NoSQL database that stores data as JSON documents and indexes every word, allowing for near real-time search speeds. Unlike standard database queries that are slow and rigid, Elasticsearch is built to handle massive volumes of unstructured data, making it the industry standard for search features.

Standard search tutorials often stop at basic keyword matching or require complex server setups. In this video, we are building a "production-ready" search engine environment using Docker and Python.

📚 What you will learn:
The Docker Setup: Launching Elasticsearch without installing Java or configuring paths manually.
The Spider: Writing a Python script to crawl websites and index data in real-time.
The Archive Indexer: Processing local text files and making them searchable.
The Web App: Building a Flask interface to highlight search terms dynamically.

🧪 Tech stack:
Python 3
Elasticsearch (via Docker)
Flask
