AWS instances can render images for me, but I also want to take advantage of Deadline’s Event Plugin capabilities to perform post-processing on the rendered images and automate certain manual steps after the images are created. These tasks are carried out using Python, with libraries such as pandas, Pillow, and pyexiv2.
Creating a custom Amazon Machine Image (AMI) with these Python libraries pre-installed is a key step in enabling this functionality.
