What is a Container?
A container is a package of software that includes all dependencies: code, runtime, configuration, and system libraries so that it can run on any host system. At runtime, the container is also granted its own isolated slice of operating system resources like CPU, RAM, Disk, and Networking.
What is Quarkus?
Quarkus is a Cloud Native, (Linux) Container First framework for writing Java applications. Quarkus is a MicroProfile implementation that focuses on efficiently running Java applications in containers in general and Kubernetes in particular. The MicroProfile project is aimed at optimizing Enterprise Java for the microservices architecture.
