Collision detection sounds like a pretty hard problem so learning how to code collision detection in javascript may sound of reach for you. But I am here to tell you that 2d collision detection with elastic collision responses just using balls is not that difficult. In this video I will do my best to help you code javascript collision detection and explain the math behind what is happening. By the way, we will do this all in pure javascript, no libraries! All from scratch.
