Check Code Spellings | Code Spell Checker for Code Editor
Web Developers who don't speak English language, even with Computer Science degree in English language, make spelling mistakes in code often. Other developers may find it irritating to see misspelled variable name or typo. Here is an easy fix.
If you type misspelled words in code editor, it will not complain. Fix is to use a VS Code extension to check code spellings. Extension name is 'Code Spell Checker'. This is a basic spell checker that works well with camelCase code. It will help catch common spelling errors while keeping the number of false positives low. Load a TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, or Text file. Misspelled words will have a squiggly underline. Hover over misspelled word. It will suggest correct spellings.
Spellchecker is case-insensitive
Symbols and punctuation are ignored by this extension
Words longer than 3 characters are checked only
We can fix misspelled words in code easily using this extension.
