New Tapping Idea (With Tabs)
This is one of my more recent ideas, maybe about a month old. I've kind of been challenging myself to come up with more tapping ideas because it's not a technique that I use very often. But I love guitar players like Charles Caswell of Berried Alive, Per Nilsson of Scar Symmetry, Olly Steele formerly of Monuments, and others who incorporate some pretty wild tapping ideas into their playing.
This lick is really hard to play with high gain/distortion, as it becomes very difficult to not produce any buzzing or carryover noise from the strings that aren't currently being tapped/fretted. That's why I used my acoustic guitar for the fast demo section, since it's actually easier to play this lick on that guitar.
