How to install JAVA on EC2 Instance

We are going to install JAVA 8 version on AWS EC2 instance.
So we can deploy our jar on an instance.

Below are commands for reference :
1) sudo su (Giving root permissions)
2) yum update -y (updates yum command)
3) yum install -y java-1.8.0-openjdk (Installs the java version 8)
