Versioning your Python Scripts Using Git Tags
Even without the need of collaboration and Git servers you can use versioning with tags locally in your filesystem. Git tags become simple snapshots of your code allowing us to revert to them quickly and easily. We develop a simple Python script and can store 3 versions of the same script using git tags. Versioning them allows us quick access to previous code
