Welcome to the Foundation + Jupyter lab in the Unobi Python Training series.
In this video we set up Interactive Python Notebooks in VS Code using the Python and Jupyter extensions. This provides a lightweight way to experiment with Python without installing large notebook environments.
In this lesson we will:
• Install the Python extension for VS Code
• Install the Jupyter extension
• Create a Python virtual environment (.venv)
• Build and run our first Interactive Python Notebook (.ipynb)
• Execute a simple Hello World example
Interactive notebooks allow you to run Python one cell at a time, making them ideal for learning, experimentation, and data exploration.
