Flutter is a portable UI toolkit from Google that allows you to create attractive, natively built apps for mobile, web, and desktop from a single codebase. Flutter lowers the barrier to entry for developers when it comes to creating apps. It minimizes the cost and complexity of app development across platforms by speeding up the process.
The lack of platform constraints is Flutter's key advantage over native and React Native. Platform UI does not muffle this because it does not use it. Everything is rendered by itself. You have complete freedom to create the finest UX possible. The key distinction between Flutter and React Native is this. Drawing is delegated to the platform via React Native.
▶️ How to Build iOS or Android with Flutter:
1. To begin, create your Flutter app in VS-code or Android studio and test it on the Android emulator.
2. After that, register an account on Flutlab.io to generate an iOS or Android bundle. FlutLab.io is an online IDE for Flutter that allows you to create Flutter apps. Developers can use this space to host their projects, collaborate, and produce a variety of builds.
3. Now you may upload your completed Flutter project by logging into your account.
4. To upload your Flutter project, go to your profile and click the Upload Zip icon on the navigation bar.
5. Select your project when it has been successfully uploaded, and you will see a text editor where you may make any last adjustments you need.
6. You can select the platform to build on from the next window, as we did by selecting ios-debug from the drop-down menu and closing the settings page.
7. It's time to start working on the project now that you've decided on the build architecture. Now simply click the build project button and wait for it to finish. The creation of an iOS or Android build will take some time.
8. When you're finished, you'll see a link to download the build for the iOS or Android simulator. To begin downloading, click the following link: To test this build, we'll need a simulator or a real iPhone. To run this build, we'll need to use the Appetize.io platform. Appetize offers a free iPhone simulator for testing iOS or Android builds. The native apps can be executed in the browser simulator.
9. Click the pick button on the Appetize to upload the build file you obtained from Flutlab.io. Fill up a valid email address in the email address box. Appetize will offer you a link to the simulator so you can test your iOS or Android app.
10. Finally, go to your email inbox and look for an email from Appetize.io there. When you click the link, you'll be taken to an iPhone simulator. Simply select Tap to Play to view your iOS or Android app running on a real iPhone or Android phone.
▶️ Flutter for iOS or Android is increasingly becoming a popular choice among iOS developers. There are several benefits of using flutter for building iOS or Android apps :
• Flutter is cost-effective as it only takes one engineer three months to develop the app for both Android and iOS.
• Flutter-based iOS apps provide a native experience and have excellent cross-platform performance.
• Apps created using flutter employ a single language (Dart), which eliminates the need to maintain two different files for iOS and Android and can be reused.
• Flutter has a superior technology, so it’s not necessary to test the application on older versions.
• Flutter use Dart language, as it is an object-oriented, garbage-collected language with a C-style syntax that may optionally trans-compile to JavaScript.
