Split Text Formula in Google Sheets
There are two ways of using the SPLIT text function. If you use it as a function, it divides text around a specified character or string and puts each fragment into a separate cell in the row. You can also opt to use it from the Data clean-up section in the Menu bar (go to Data --split text to column option at the very bottom).
Either way, you use the SPLIT function, you have to select the text you would like to split and the delimiter that can be used as a separator. In addition, the SPLIT function has two additional options that can be used for cases where you want to use multiple delimiters or add spacing between splits.
