We use JavaScript to made A modal is a type of window that appears on top of the main content of a webpage. It's commonly used to display alerts, forms, or additional information without navigating away from the current page.

The JavaScript part selects the modal and the button by their IDs and assigns click events to them. Clicking the button displays the modal, and clicking the × symbol hides it again.
