Using Python in Siri Shortcuts
This video shows you how to build a Siri shortcut to download the latest episode of a podcast from an RSS feed.
It uses the paid Pyto app, which is an IOS Python interpreter that has shortcut support, which provide more flexibility and capability compared with the inbuilt scripting actions.
In effect this showcases Siri Shortcuts plus Pyto (Python code) as a really good combination for IOS automation. It builds a simple podcatcher using 4 shortcut actions. Apple Notes can be used as a podcast media player with inbuilt subtitles for transcriptions.
