Hi Guys,

Today i'm going to share one of major issue which is faced by everyone mostly. When we are ready with website design then we need to check website on server it is running properly or not for that we use XAMPP or WAMP Server Server for local setup in our computer system.

I was trying to setup one website for testing purpose and when i tried to run "Apache" module with XAMPP it showed me an error.
After that i was visited most of the website in that i got a solution with Registry of TCP-Port, VmWare Registry etc. After that i saw an error which is showing by XAMPP it is -

Port 443 in use by ""C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware Workstation\vmware-hostd.exe" -u "C:\ProgramData\VMware\hostd\config.xml"" with PID 5704!

Apache WILL NOT start without the configured ports free!

You need to uninstall/disable/reconfigure the blocking application

or reconfigure Apache and the Control Panel to listen on a different port

Now here we need to change port number, In my case VmWare is using port 443 and i need to change it so???

Then i searched alot in VmWare settings and finally i got a point where we can change the port number 😀

We need to follow this path to change port number - VmWare -- Edit -- Preferences -- Shared VM
First i clicked on "Disable Sharing" button then i was able to change the port number. and after that i tried to start "Apache" module again and finally its started.

Thank you ..!! :)
