Quadradius 2 Minute Tutorial
Quadradius, http://quadradius.com, is a turn-based strategy game that can be played by 1 to 6 players. You control a squadron of pieces that light up when you roll over them and you can drag each of these pieces one space at a time, either left, right, up, or down. If you jump ON your opponent, their piece is destroyed with the basic goal being to destroy your opponents entire squadron.
Now, this would get boring quite quickly so to put a bionic twist on things, your pieces can use various powers and modifications to assist you in eliminating your opponents. To get powers or mods, you simply jump on the glowing power orbs that appear randomly around the arena. You'll know which pieces have absorbed powers because they'll be glowing. To use a power, simply click on your piece, and then click on the item you'd like to use. To read about what a specific power or mod does simply roll over the question mark at the end of each menu item.
You will notice some powers come in 3 varieties; Row, Column, and Radial. Row powers will affect all the tiles in your piece's horizontal row, while Column powers will affect all the tiles in the vertical column, and Radial will affect the tiles directly around your piece. Through a little practice you'll learn the best times and strategies to use each.
Also, during the game (and in custom arenas) tiles will have, or change, elevation. Your pieces can only climb tiles that are one level higher, like steps. Anything more acts as a wall (and you can try all you like, but you're just not getting up there). In contrast though, your piece CAN jump down from any height which will make elevation a big part of your overall strategy.
