Most if not all front-end developers use a framework these days. That said, it's easy to think that frameworks were invented for our convenience, when they were really created to solve a very specific problem.
In this video, I take you through a brief history of JavaScript and detail the problem (in historical context) that frameworks were created for.
I hope this video gives you a few things to think about and hopes you approach your development differently.
