FuturePlay 2017
FuturePlay celebrates, explores and showcases cutting-edge creative content and ideas at the intersection of art and technology. The festival launched in 2016 as the Edinburgh Digital Entertainment Festival and returned to Edinburgh in 2017 as FuturePlay.
FuturePlay ran from 3rd to 26th August and featured geodesic domes and shipping containers which housed a virtual reality studio, a gaming and interactive tech zone, and an immersive art gallery powered by Google Tilt Brush.
FuturePlay is produced by Riverside Studios in association with Assembly Festival and supported by the National Lottery through Creative Scotland.
