every variable has a data type in python
since each element is an object in python, data type is a class and variable is an instance (object) of the class
there are 6 major types of data
Numbers: these can be integers, floating or a complex no
List is a systematic order of elements and is mutable
Tuple is a systematic collection of elements and is immutable
String is an arrangement of Unicode characters and is immutable
Set is an unsystematic group of distinct elements and excludes any repeating values
Dictionary is an unsystematic group of key-value combinations and can pull values using key
