How To Export All Notes Evernote Tutorial
To export all your notes from Evernote, open the desktop application (Windows or Mac). Navigate to "File" in the top menu bar, then select "Export." In the export dialogue box, ensure you select "All Notes" under the "Export content" section to include every note in your account. Crucially, choose the "Evernote XML format (.enex)" as your export format. This is the recommended option as it preserves most of your note's data, including text, images, attachments, tags, creation and modification dates, and notebook structure. While you can also export as HTML, ENEX is superior for migrating your notes to another note-taking application or for comprehensive backup purposes, as it retains richer metadata. After selecting ENEX and "All Notes," choose a destination folder on your computer where you want to save the file and click "Export." Evernote will then generate a single .enex file containing all your exported notes, ready for backup or import elsewhere.
