By default, Next. js includes its own server with next start . If you have an existing backend, you can still use it with Next.

Using Server-Side Rendering: Next. js pre-renders a page on each request. It will be slower because the page cannot be cached by a CDN, but the pre-rendered page will always be up-to-date.

Server-side rendering allows developers to pre-populate a web page with custom user data directly on the server.
