UXP is brand new for Adobe Premiere Pro. In this tutorial, I go over how to create a UXP plugin using the UXP Developer Tools app from creative cloud and Adobe Premiere Pro - Beta. For this tutorial, you will need access to a version of Adobe Premiere pro that is at least 25.2. As of April 2025, this means downloading the Beta version of Premiere Pro.
By the end of the video, you'll be able to load your very own "hello world" UXP plugin. I give a high level overview of the source code and talk about some high level concepts including npm and the command line.
Let me know in the comments what topic you'd like me to cover next - I have a lot of things I want to talk about including diving deeper into the Premier Pro UXP API, migrating from CEP and more!
