Create a deep link, where a hyperlink on a website will open a specific activity in your Android app. This is ideal if you want to send users to a specific screen in your app, or you want to show some content in a web view, and have the user click a link to return to your app.

In the data tag, android:scheme="http", android:host="www.plantplaces.com", and android:pathPrefix="/colorcapture.shtml". When concatenated together, they assemble the link, above.
