Google Apps Script Extract Unique Values & Sum
This video illustrates how to Extract Unique Values from a List and SUM by those Values in Google Apps Script. In this example there is a dataset of Loan Records. Two of the fields in this dataset are Branch Location and Loan Amount. The objective of this video is to create code that will extract Unique values from the Branch Location Column and then Sum the Loan Amount Field by these Unique Branch Locations. This video also includes how to insert Google Sheets Functions (Sumif(), Unique()) within your Apps Script Code. In addition this lesson shows how to pass a variable to a function in Google Apps Script.
