Spearman–Brown Prophecy Formula Explained
In this video, I explore multiple intuitive ways to understand the Spearman–Brown Prophecy Formula (SBPF). The goal is to use visualizations to build intuition for how changes in test length affect reliability, as understanding that will make it obvious how the formula works.

ERRATA: At the 4:08 mark, I use an example with rxx = .70, but I mistakenly wrote rxx = .50 on one part of the slide. The verbal explanation and calculations are correct for rxx = .70, though.
