I am using sql server 2012, I want to connect the sql server databases. But I got this following error "windows cannot start the sql server mssqlserver on local computer"

To solve this error
Press Run command and enter Services.msc
and then enter.

Then I search for the services " SQL SERVER" and click right and then start service.

But I got this error "windows cannot start the sql server mssqlserver on local computer"
In order to solve this problem,
Go to properties and select log on tab. there I select the "local system account" and press OK button and then start service.

Then, try connecting the sql server.
Finally getting connected.
