This video is a basic introduction to the grouping operations available in both the itertools module, and in the Pandas data analysis library. The basics of both methods are demonstrated, along with some examples from a real-life dataset consisting of IMDB's top 1000 movies, which can be found here:

We use Pandas groupby function to group these by director and analyze which director has the most movies in the top 1000.
