Python Live Coding to extract metadata from webpage
In this video I will show you how to extract webpage metadata from a webpage and create a Twitter Card using Python.
I use Google Colab for Python environment, quickly hacking out a script to get the metadata in to a suitable form, using urllib to download a page, BeautifulSoup to parse HTML, and IPython to display an HTML fragment. Bit of List Comprehensions and refactoring thrown in the mix as well.
