In android there four types of buttons normal Button, ImageButton and ToggleButton and RadioButton. In this tutorial we see an example of ImageButton. Displaying a button with an image (instead of text) that can be pressed or clicked by the user. By default, an ImageButton looks like a regular Button, with the standard button background that changes color during different button states. An ImageButton is an AbsoluteLayout which enables you to specify the exact location of its children. You can make your own customized button for your application. To do this you can use any software that you are comfortable with, it can be Paint or Microsoft Word, or Photoshop and PagePlus for something more sophisticated. You can also find some very nice ready to use buttons on http://www.iconarchive.com. Before you use any icons from the website make sure you check the license.
