How to install Backtrack 5 using VirtualBox
in this video i will show u how to install backtrack 5 on virtualbox it is very easy just follow these instructions my microphone was not working properly:
1. search google for backtrack 5
2. download from backtrack website dosent matter if u pick gnome or kde both the same to install i prefer backtrack 5 kde looks cooler but in video i downloaded gnome when downloading find out if pc is 32 or 64 bit and download appropriate version my pc is 64 bit most are 32 bit http://www.backtrack-linux.org/downlo...
3. download virtualbox from http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
4. install virtualbox
5. press new machine
6. click on linux and select ubuntu 64 bit or ubuntu 32 bit if u have 32 bit pc
7. choose amount of ram i suggest using 2gb
8. then create new harddisk and select how big u want it to be
9. then press power on and choose the place where u downloaded backtrack 5 and then thats about it and later if u want to u can install it onto your virtual harddrive
10. just enter startx when the command line page comes up
